Amboli Recipe:
Take one bowl of Amboli Readymix
Add two bowls of water to it.
Mix well and wait for 2 minutes.
Drizzle some oil into the heated pan.
Pour the thick layer of batter and gently spread it.
Apply oil to the sides of the Amboli.
Roast it from both sides on a medium gas flame until it turns golden brown.
Serve with green chutney or any accompaniment you prefer.

Dahi Appe Chaat
Ingredients:
1 bowl Taste for Life Amboli Readymix
2 bowls water
1 cup whisked curd
Chopped onion and tomatoes
Coriander-mint chutney
Khatti-meethi chutney
Red chilli powder, chaat masala, and salt (to taste)
Sev or pomegranate (for garnish)
Instructions:
In a mixing bowl, combine 1 bowl of Amboli Readymix with 2 bowls of water to make a smooth batter.
Pour the batter into an appe (paniyaram) pan.
Cook the appe until golden brown on both sides.
Let them cool slightly.
Place 5–10 appe in a serving bowl.
Pour 1 cup of whisked curd over them.
Add chopped onion and tomatoes, drizzle coriander-mint and khatti-meethi chutneys as per your taste.
Sprinkle red chilli powder, chaat masala, and salt.
Garnish with sev or pomegranate.
Serve chilled for best flavor.
Chilli Paniyaram
Ingredients:
1 bowl Amboli Readymix + 2 bowls water (batter)
10–12 garlic cloves (chopped)
2–3 green chillies (sliced)
1 cup sliced onions
1 cup sliced capsicum
2 tbsp each: red chilli sauce, soy sauce, tomato ketchup, vinegar
2 tsp honey
½ tsp black pepper powder
Salt to taste
Sesame seeds and spring onion greens (for garnish)
Instructions:
Prepare appe using the readymix batter in an appe pan. Cook and cut each in half. Set aside.
In a pan, heat 5 tbsp oil and sauté chopped garlic and green chillies.
Add sliced onions and stir fry until translucent.
Add sauces (chilli, soy, ketchup, vinegar) and honey. Mix well.
Toss in capsicum and stir for a few seconds.
Season with pepper and salt.
Add the cut appe and stir-fry everything on high heat for 2–3 minutes.
Garnish with sesame seeds and spring onion greens. Serve hot.
Corn Pepper Appe
Ingredients:
Amboli batter (as per pack instructions)
3 tbsp chopped onion
3 tbsp boiled corn
2 tsp green chilli paste
¼ tsp black pepper powder
Salt to taste
Oil (for cooking)
Instructions:
Mix all ingredients into the prepared Amboli batter.
Heat the appe pan and grease it lightly.
Pour spoonfuls of batter into each mould.
Cook on low heat until golden brown, flip and cook the other side.
Serve hot with your favorite dip.
Masala Amboli
Ingredients:
Amboli Readymix batter (prepare as per pack)
1 cup chopped onions
2 green chillies (chopped)
1 cup chopped tomatoes
1 cup sliced capsicum
1 cup shredded cabbage
3 tbsp pav bhaji masala
Salt and lemon juice to taste
Grated cheese (for garnish)
Oil (for cooking)
Instructions:
Prepare thick Amboli and cut into triangles. Set aside.
Heat 6 tbsp oil in a pan. Sauté onions till translucent.
Add green chillies and tomatoes. Cook until soft.
Add capsicum and cabbage. Stir fry for a minute.
Add salt and pav bhaji masala. Mix well and cook for 2–3 minutes.
Add the Amboli triangles and gently toss to coat.
Cook for 1–2 more minutes.
Finish with lemon juice and garnish with cheese. Serve hot.
Mini Masala Uttapam
Ingredients:
Amboli batter (prepared as per pack)
Chopped onion and green chillies (as desired)
Podi chutney (optional)
Melted ghee (for cooking)
Instructions:
Heat a mini uttapam pan and lightly grease it.
Pour spoonfuls of batter into each mould.
Top with chopped onions and green chillies.
Sprinkle some podi chutney for extra flavor.
Drizzle ghee around the edges.
Cook until golden brown on both sides. Serve hot.
Chocolate Pancake Stack
Ingredients:
Amboli batter (as per pack)
Chocolate spread
Chocolate syrup
Blueberries (optional)
Instructions:
Using a mini uttapam pan, prepare 5–6 small ambolis.
Take one amboli, spread chocolate over it, and top with another.
Stack 5–6 ambolis in this way.
Drizzle with chocolate syrup and top with a few blueberries.
Serve warm or chilled as a dessert.
Cheesy Tandoori Bites
Ingredients:
Amboli batter (as per pack)
4 tbsp tandoori mayonnaise
1 small boiled potato (mashed)
3 tbsp each: corn and chopped green capsicum
Salt to taste
Schezwan chutney
5–6 mini cheese slices
Dried thyme (optional)
Instructions:
Step 1: Prepare the Base
Make 5–6 mini ambolis using the batter and a mini uttapam pan. Set aside.
Step 2: Prepare Tandoori Spread
In a bowl, mix tandoori mayo, mashed potato, corn, capsicum, and salt.
Adjust the mayo for a smooth spreadable consistency.
Step 3: Assemble the Discs
Take a mini amboli, spread Schezwan chutney over it.
Add a generous layer of the tandoori spread.
Place a slice of cheese on top.
Heat the disc on a greased pan until the cheese melts.
Sprinkle with thyme and serve hot.
